Plymouth Church of Christ
About Us

Allow Us To Introduce Ourselves

The church of Christ is a non-denominational body of believers. Our goal is to be “Christians only.” Our membership is made up of people from many cultures, races, generations, and backgrounds. The common faith we have in God and His Word keeps us together as a large family.

Each individual church of Christ congregation is self-ruled and independent of other congregations. Each is governed by a plurality of elders selected from among the members. These men meet the qualifications for this office given in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

Our worship is simple and devout

Jesus said, “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship him in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).

We follow this command in structuring our worship services. By careful study of the New Testament Churches, it shows that the first century Christians were singing, preaching, giving, and partaking of the Lord’s Supper in worship.

You Will Never Be Embarrased

You are a welcome guest. At the close of the sermon those wishing to become Christians, be restored as erring Christians, or be identified with the congregation are invited to and make your wishes known. You will never be singled out for public attention. People are urged to accept the gospel and yield to the invitation of the Lord with a deep spiritual conviction.

Friendliness is a natural attitude among those who love God and one another. You will always receive a warm welcome. We want you to go to heaven and live in eternity. Through the death of Jesus on the cross, we all have opportunity for eternal life. If you have any questions, we will be happy to show you what the Bible says about salvation and how to obtain it.

We look forward to getting to know you.
